Minor wear to the upper cover. A good and genuine copy, some foxing and browning, book block partly detached from the spine.

Reprint of Trissino's Italian version of the De vulgari eloquentia, which was included, together with other sixteenth-century treatises on the dispute over the Italian language (by such authors as Tolomei, Varchi, Salviati, etc.), edited by the scholar Giuseppe degli Aromatari (1587-1660).
